We have an opportunity for a Systems Administrator to join our team and expand their career, working on existing projects and working across the entire business. You will initially be involved with the sales, engineering, procurement and manufacturing departments, streamlining the data input procedures with a view to capturing the necessary knowledge in the database. You will work alongside our current IT System Designer to help complete the existing Microsoft Access Data Management Systems, ensuring that data input is accurate and the systems are working to provide the various departments with the information required while maintaining data integrity and data security. You will be a key person liaising between the Heads of Departments and reporting directly to Senior Management taking ownership of both the data and the Management Systems. We will look to you to recommend and maintain a robust system structure, whilst assisting with new system implementation. We are open to the level of experience you will bring. As a minimum, you will need prior experience with computer hardware and software set up and experience with Microsoft Server, Exchange Server, Active Directory, and networking administration. Critical is your attention to detail and willingness to learn and work alongside others. If you can demonstrate skills in the following areas, that would be highly regarded : Proficient at VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) programming with MS Access Experience with Transact-SQL A real knack for solving data-driven problems and connecting the dots Ability to break down problems into actionable parts and decide what is important Keen attention to detail and accuracy when working with large data sets Methodical approach to the completion of a task is essential You will be joining a team of passionate individuals who always find a way to be innovative and solve problems.
