Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
As our System Manager for Te Tai Tokerau region, you will provide effective leadership working with key partners to manage and maintain the road network in line with customer levels of service to provide NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi customers with a seamless experience on the transport system.
This is an exceptional leadership opportunity where you will lead and develop a cohesive, high performing team who ensures that transport systems are safe, operational, and optimised in collaboration with key partners both internally and externally.

As our successful System Manager, you'll be an authentic leader with the ability to build and develop an integrated team culture focused on delivering optimal outcomes.
You'll also be an effective communicator, influencer, collaborator, and most importantly able to inspire and motivate people to constantly deliver their best, every day.
As our System Manager, you'll also bring with you:
Senior Leadership experience and expert knowledge of system solution design and delivery in a large complex organisation
Experience within transport network systems and standards including an understanding of New Zealand land transport and resource management legislation is preferred
Sound commercial and analytical experience
In-depth experience in working across the full delivery lifecycle
Proven ability to manage and deliver in a changing and pressured environment
Understanding of end-to-end infrastructure management practices including asset management, performance management and physical delivery would be beneficial
