Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Syrian Food Chef to join our team. We operate food trucks in South Islands, serving authentic Syrian food to the community. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in preparing authentic Syrian cuisine, with a deep understanding of traditional recipes and cooking techniques. You will be responsible for creating a diverse menu that showcases the rich flavors and cultural heritage of Syria, ensuring high-quality dishes that delight our customers.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of Syrian dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts.
Develop and refine recipes to maintain authenticity and enhance flavor profiles.
Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Manage food truck operations, including inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness.
Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective service.
Collaborate with management to create seasonal menus and special offerings.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a chef specializing in Syrian cuisine for a minimum of two years is preferred, or relevant qualification in cooking can be considered in absence of experience.
Strong knowledge of traditional Syrian ingredients, spices, and cooking methods.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
