#BELIMITLESSClaremont Club & Spa, A Fairmont Hotel is an Equal Opportunity Employer.EOE/M/F/V/DJob DescriptionSummary of Responsibilities:Reporting to the Director, Aquatics, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceWelcome guests to the pool facility and ensure they have a safe and enjoyable experienceAssist in the cleanliness and the daily upkeep of the pool areaGuard and safeguard all guests/members using the pool facilityEnsure guests are aware of all services and activities available at the poolEnsure that proper pool testing has taken place prior to guests using the facilityEnsure all guests are registered prior to using the pool and are aware of the rules of the facilityProvide a high level of guest satisfaction and safety through effective communicationFollow departmental policies and proceduresFollow all safety and sanitation policiesQualificationsPrevious experience as a Lifeguard preferredCertification in CPR First Aid requiredCertification as a Lifeguard requiredStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work cohesively as part of a teamAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesPhysical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):Frequent standing and walking throughout shiftOccasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs.Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, sittingOccasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and rampsVisa Requirements: Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.Hourly Rate: $24.34 Gross per hourAdditional InformationOur commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:We are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
