The Hired Guns are seeking a Senior Vice President of Marketing for an innovative data and technology company that provides a unique SaaS product to the multi-trillion dollar commercial real estate industry. The SVP Marketing role will lead all marketing automation, demand generation, lead generation, and customer acquisition in numerous markets.
New, but not nascent, this CRE analysis tool has the serious heft to lift mountains of data on both the physical world and the fiscal one. Its goal is to eliminate all the in-person work of collecting fintech figures, and provide a much more detailed (and accurate) portrait of the real estate industry. To do this, it uses powerful AI machine learning to generate algorithmic analysis of the market. Data-mining the web, crawling federal and municipal documents, and consulting with experts, it finds connections imperceptible to humans and identifies actionable areas of opportunity.
While that unmatched prowess sells itself, your job is going to be finding the right people to buy it: properly packaging (multi-multi-multi-)multimedia content for everyone from lenders to owners to brokers to fund managers, each of whom will need different interests and insights. If it's marketing material, it's yours to fashion into the perfect tool to reach its intended audience. You'll be doing work in external areas like social media, advertising, and working with the company's PR firm, as well.
Hired Gun Profile
While video and public speaking come with this role, every presentation will originate with the exceptional writing skills you bring to the job; sharpen your pencil and prepare to deliver a sample of the keen wisdom only you possess after several years in a B2B big data role — ideally in CRE, financial services, or technology.
You'll also need a strong sense of how it all connects, since CRE is common ground for various other industries and interests: banking, brick-and-mortar businesses, investors, and others. Pardot for marketing automation, Google Analytics for demand generation, and Salesforce for lead generation customer acquisition are all familiar stomping grounds for your mouse cursor.
If you can deep-dive that data without drowning, your creative and personable sides won't be neglected. You'll develop and monitor marketing programs, and enact them at pitch meetings and trade shows, where your social derring-do puts a human voice to those pure numbers.
Those people skills will be crucial at home, too, as this company has a brand-new business sales team that expects lots of info coming back into the system from your lead-generation efforts. Support your team, and they'll give you everything you need to conquer the world (or at least map every square foot of it for rent).
Net-Net
This job demands a lot from a candidate with highly specialized skills, but it's an excellent role for high-octane performers who love interacting with both the individual and the market. You'll never get bored when there's so much demanding your attention across so many disciplines.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, creed, age, sexual orientation, veteran status, marital status, disability, or any other status protected by applicable law.
