You will be responsible for implementing and seeing through a range of technical activities with clients, including (but not limited to):Environmental reporting/greenhouse gas emissions profiles, targets and reduction plansGreenhouse gas verification and assuranceClimate disclosuresMateriality assessmentsSustainability strategy developmentB Corp CertificationProject managementCommunications and engagementPlanningIn addition to these responsibilities, the role will also contribute to administration and development of Oxygen Consulting's projects and activities, such as product development and research.As our Sustainability Consultant, you will:Have demonstrable experience and expertise in greenhouse gas (GHG) measurement and reportingBe passionate about business sustainability and motivated to develop and grow in this professionBe a team player, collaborative and inclusiveHave excellent communication skills, able to read different audiences and build relationships with a broad range of stakeholdersBe highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects at a timeBe adaptable and flexibleTo be successful in this role you will have:Tertiary qualification requiredMinimum 1-2 years previous sustainability consulting experience, or experience working in a sustainability professionals' rolePreference given to the following professional experience: GHG emissions measurement, GHG target setting, GHG reduction plans, GHG audit, climate disclosureBase knowledge (and preferably applied experience) of sustainability principles, practices, trends and frameworks (e.g. GRI, SBTi, GHG Protocol, ISO 14064-1, ISO14064-3, TCFD, TNFD, NZ CS, AASB, IFRS S1 and S2, B Corp, SDGs, NZ sustainability policy/regulation) and a strong desire to learn and grow capability in these areasAbility to solve complex problemsHigh level of proficiency with Google and Microsoft Office productsThe right to work in New ZealandGet in touch to enquire about this role further at ******, or apply with your CV and cover letter.
