They would also like this person to get involved in new business initiatives (e.g. acquisitions, helping to build business cases, etc). About the Role:
In this pivotal role, you'll work closely with the CFO and General Manager of Strategy, providing vital financial insights to drive business decisions. You'll support investor relations, manage sustainability reporting, and maintain critical financial models. This is an ideal opportunity for a driven analyst to contribute to strategic planning while gaining exposure to key areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities: Support investor relations and own sustainability reportingDevelop and enhance financial and valuation modelsPrepare reports for the Board, executive management, and stakeholdersConduct financial analysis on key performance indicatorsResearch market trends and monitor developmentsAssist in collecting and preparing emissions data for sustainability reportingSo Who Are You And What Is Your Profile?
This role suits someone who is likely in a professional services firm that has had significant exposure to sustainability reporting (e.g. big4, mid-tier, etc). Ideally, you'll have a professional qualification in accounting too. Alternatively, you may have had exposure to this in a listed business. Importantly they are seeking someone who is genuinely passionate about the sustainability/ESG space.
