Surveyor or Survey Technician, Definition Surveying LimitedDefinition Surveying have an opening for an experienced Surveyor or Survey Technician in Tauranga.
At Definition we strive to provide the best service, therefore we are looking for someone who believes in their value and wants to share it with our clients. To help you provide the best service, we use the best equipment and software including Trimble GNSS, Total Stations, Scanners, and DJI drones including the DJI Matrice 350 with L2 LiDAR. Training and support will be provided, but prior experience with Trimble Business Centre and Civil 3D would be an advantage. We are ideally looking for candidates that have at least 5 years of surveying experience.
The role will include a range of surveying services from laser scanning, UAV, building set out, topographical, and as-built surveys. The position would suit someone with great communication and people skills who has the drive to work up to a project manager or team leader position.
The role is permanent and full-time with a mix of field and office work. We have several locations throughout the country, so there may be opportunities to support our other offices and take trips for conferences or courses. Our Tauranga team has a nice office based in Pyes Pa, and there is also some flexibility to work from home if that suits you.
