Key Responsibilities Your primary responsibilities include monthly landfill surveys, compute quantities, and perform annual reconciliations.
Undertake all required surveys for projects, including construction set outs and as-built records.
Certify the accuracy of surveys to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards.
Monitor ground movement and settlement within landfill sites through precise surveying techniques.
Collaborate with Construction and Operational Managers to ensure comprehensive survey coverage across all sites.
Liaise with Consulting Designers and Engineers to provide necessary survey information and data.
Prepare detailed drawings and quantities using software such as 12D, AutoCAD, and Sketchup.
Utilize advanced instruments (Trimble GPS, Dumpy, Laser Levels) for data elaboration and engineering plans.
Conduct site surveys and process data for various projects, including volume calculations and construction designs.
Supervise projects from site set out to final as-built surveys, ensuring adherence to designs and consented levels.
Provide valuable insights for long-term landfill planning and operational management.
Qualifications Minimum 5 years' experience in land survey practices.
Proficiency in using 12D, AutoCAD Land Desktop, and Civil CAD software.
Detailed knowledge of GPS for specific and general surveys.
Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Performance-driven, accountable, and committed to completing projects on time and within budget.
