Surveying Technician

About us FZ Survey Ltd was established in March 2013 provide high quality land surveying service. We are looking for 2 self-motivated surveying technicians who is looking for an exciting opportunity in the Auckland region.
This is a full time permanent position with guaranteed 30 hours work per week. 
Tasks & Responsibilities Preparing, editing and reviewing plans, charts and drawings Assisting Construction Managers and Surveyors in planning Data processing and quantifying volumes by using Microsoft Office Suite Using surveying instruments and photogrammetric equipment to collect data Supporting the overall construction site logistics and coordinating works programs AutoCAD drafting and using BIM in accordance with the construction site requirements Assisting on-site with set outs, heights and survey control, ensure they are performed accurately and in accordance with the design and specification
Interpreting plans, regulations and communicating with construction team to achieve the good outcomes Improving processes/systems in the survey department  Performing routine computations and plotting preliminary data May construct other survey tasks as requested by the employer Requirements Formal qualification in Civil Engineering/Land Surveying is preferred Minimum 3 years relevant experience can substitute the formal qualification requirement Must be with CAD and 12D software experience Good communication skills Positive attitude and enjoys working in a collaborative team environment
