Surveying And Building Technician

We provide a full range of renovation services to residential and commercial customers , mainly in the Bay of Plenty. We work on all sizes of projects, from large new build and renovation projects to small repair, upgrade, or decorating jobs.
To assist the company quantity surveyor and site managers, we are now looking for a Surveying and Building Technician to join the team.
Requirement:  a qualification at Level 5 or higher in quantity surveying
Full time permanent job
Maximum 40 hours from Monday to Friday between 8am -6pm 
Hourly rate: between $32 to $40 depending on your skills and expereinces

Your main duties include:

assisting Construction Managers, Architects and Surveyors in planning the different renovation projects
taking measurements and plot out land divisions using survey equipment.
making notes, creating sketches, and enterring the data into a computer
interpreting plans, regulations and codes of practice
Prepare charts, drawings, plans, maps, documents, and records
preparing, editing and revising plans, maps, charts and drawings
inspecting work and materials for compliance with specifications, regulations and standards
calculating costs and estimating time scales
collecting data using surveying instruments and photogrammetric equipment
