Reyburn & Bryant are proud Northland based surveyors with an extensive base of long term and diverse clients. We provide services in planning, cadastral surveying, land development engineering, civil construction supervision and project management.
We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a Survey Technician or Graduate Surveyor with prior experience completing Cadastral Surveys in New Zealand to join our team.
As a Survey Technician or Graduate Surveyor, you will work closely with our Licensed Cadastral Surveyors in all areas of land development with a particular focus on Cadastral Surveys. You will conduct fieldwork using GPS and Total Station equipment and reduce information gathered in the field in 12D software. In addition to completing Cadastral surveys, the role will also include construction setout, as-built and topographical survey work. Engineering design work, supervision, and support will be provided for Graduate Surveyors looking to become Licensed.
Opportunities exist for career progression with excellent mentoring and guidance in place from Directors and senior team members.
The role will suit someone with previous employment experience in the industry.
YOU: Will ideally have gained NCEA level 2 maths, science and English for the Survey Technician role. Will hold at least a Restricted NZ Driver's License. Have excellent interpersonal skills along with written and verbal communication skills. Have strong attention to detail. Have experience with 12D software and Leica GPS and Total Station equipment.
