Fluid Recruitment is collaborating with a prominent multidisciplinary organization offering services in a number of different regions. They are looking for an experienced Survey Technician to join their Central Otago team. They will be hitting the ground running working on a mixture of residential, commercial and infrastructure projects.

You will have Diploma or degree in surveying, geospatial sciences, or a related field.
Proficiency in surveying techniques and equipment, including GPS, total stations, and data collection software.
Strong communication abilities to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
Demonstrated track record as a survey technician, with a combination of office & site-based experience.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and challenging terrain.
Exceptional analytical skills, adept at problem-solving and decision-making.
The role You will play a crucial role in supporting our surveying and geospatial teams to gather accurate data, create comprehensive maps, and contribute to the success of various projects across the region. Key responsibilities include: Conduct field surveys using the latest surveying equipment and technology to collect precise data on land, structures, and infrastructure.
Assist in processing and managing survey data, including the use of industry-standard software and tools for data analysis.
Work closely with planners, engineers, and other team members to provide essential surveying support for a wide range of projects.
Engaging with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to foster positive relationships and ensure project success.
