Fluid Recruitment is collaborating with a prominent multidisciplinary organization offering services both in New Zealand & abroad. They are looking for an experienced Survey Technician to join their Christchurch team. Minimum Requirements:
You will have:
- Diploma or degree in surveying, geospatial sciences, or a related field.
- Proficiency in surveying techniques and equipment, including GPS, total stations, and data collection software.
- Strong communication abilities to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated track record as a survey technician, with a combination of office & site-based experience.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and challenging terrain.
- Exceptional analytical skills, adept at problem-solving and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys using the latest surveying equipment and technology to collect precise data on land, structures, and infrastructure.
- Assist in processing and managing survey data, including the use of industry-standard software and tools for data analysis.
- Work closely with planners, engineers, and other team members to provide essential surveying support for a wide range of projects.
- Engage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to foster positive relationships and ensure project success.
