Survey Manager

The Company: This respected consultancy are specialists within the civil infrastructure, and land development sectors, having an established presence in Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland. They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor to join their Christchurch team as the Survey Manager. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a strong technical team of Planners, Surveyors and Engineers working on a wide variety of urban development and infrastructure projects. You will give direction and guidance to a small surveying team, also liaising closely with the Auckland survey team. The Role: As the Survey Manager, your role will include both technical and operational responsibilities. General duties and responsibilities of the role are as follows: Provide project oversight, including supervision, review and project management Provide cadastral surveying services including for subdivisions, electronic surveys, information searches, survey processing and calcs QA of scheme designs Compliance certifications Planning and property assessments Client liaison, with a focus on business development About You: To be suited to the role, you will: Be a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor Have relevant NZ experience, including experience managing survey teams Have strong skills with 12d, and Landonline Excellent verbal and written communication skills Management experience What's On Offer: They offer a flexible working environment, the opportunity to take ownership of a varied portfolio of projects, pay generous salaries and focus on staff mentoring and development.
