We currently have the opportunity for an experienced and motivated Surfacing Project Supervisor to join our Surfacing team in Canterbury. In this role, you'll see yourself responsible for project/contract management including job set up, interpreting drawings and layout plans, forward planning survey/materials/people and maintaining customer relationships.
In addition to the above you will:
Manage resources, including subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to all health and safety policies and procedures.
Be accountable for the day to day running of the project site and progress of works.
Prepare correspondence/programming and cost estimates.

We're looking for someone with:
A relevant Tertiary Qualification (BE or NZCE)
Experience delivering projects on time and within budget
Knowledge of civil structural works, with a specialty around surfacing delivery.
A proactive approach to Health and Safety – it's our #1 priority
Estimating experience would be beneficial.
The ability to develop, motivate and lead staff
Experience in allocating resources, material and plant
The ability to develop positive relationships with clients and internal/external teams
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
A good sense of humour
