We currently have the opportunity for an experienced and motivated Surfacing Project Supervisor to join our Surfacing team in Canterbury. In this role, you'll be responsible for project/contract management including job set up, interpreting drawings and layout plans, forward planning survey/materials/people, and maintaining customer relationships.
In addition to the above you will:
Manage resources, including subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to all health and safety policies and procedures.
Be accountable for the day-to-day running of the project site and progress of works.
Prepare correspondence/programming and cost estimates.

We're looking for someone with:
A relevant Tertiary Qualification (BE or NZCE).
Experience delivering projects on time and within budget.
Knowledge of civil structural works, with a specialty around surfacing delivery.
A proactive approach to Health and Safety - it's our #1 priority.
Estimating experience would be beneficial.
The ability to develop, motivate, and lead staff.
Experience in allocating resources, material, and plant.
The ability to develop positive relationships with clients and internal/external teams.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A good sense of humour.
