Job Description:
Join our team as a seasonal surfacing team member and contribute to the construction and maintenance of our southern roading network. This seasonal position offers an opportunity to work outdoors, gain hands-on experience in construction, and be part of a dedicated team committed to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in preparing surfaces, transportation, and handling of materials.Help in construction activities including chipsealing, asphalting, and rejuvenation of carriageways.Operation of hand tools, small machinery, and potentially larger equipment as required.Skills: Physical fitness to perform strenuous tasks and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Attention to detail and willingness to learn and follow instructions.Basic communication skills to understand and execute tasks effectively.Additional Requirements: Valid driver's license (Preferably Class 2 or higher).Availability for overtime and weekend work as required.Competitive wages commensurate with experience.
