We're committed to providing exceptional support services for our clients and looking for an experienced, empathetic and outgoing Support Worker to join our team and work with one of our clients having Anxiety disorder, Cellulitis, Retroperitoneal mass, based in Whangarei.
As a Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with unique needs contributing to their overall wellbeing to lead fulfilling lives.
Key Requirements: Qualification in Healthcare, disability support or related field will be preferredCompetency in HoistCompetency in PEG FeedCompetency in Trauma responsePrevious paediatric experienceOwn transport with a clean and valid Restricted/Full driver's licenseQuick learner and confidentWell-prepared and organizedAvailable Shifts: Monday to Friday- 8am-9am (with the opportunity to pick up more shifts as they become available)Responsibilities: Assist with daily tasks such as low-level personal care, bathing, PEG feedingUsage of hoist equipment correctly and efficientlyCollaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care, developmental therapies and medicationMobility, positioning, grooming, and general home helpWhat we can offer you: Great hourly rates aligned with Pay Equity starting from $23.38 to $29.10Free ongoing NZQA equivalent qualifications in Health and Wellbeing.Free Umbrella services anytime you might need counselling support and adviceFree work mobile phoneTravel reimbursement between your clientsSubsidised Southern Cross Health InsuranceTraining will be providedWhy choose Geneva Healthcare?
