We are currently looking for experienced Support Workers to work with our client based in Whanganui. Due to the intimate nature of the cares, we are looking for someone who has worked in a hospital environment and with children in the past. Commitment to the shifts is vital due to the complexity of the cares.
This is a role where no two days are the same. You will have the ability to work one on one with our clients, ensuring they live their best life possible.
Requirements: Previous experience handling childrenChild specific First AidAssisting clients with personal caresConfident to handle cares independentlyMust have a clean and valid NZ driving licenceMust be eligible to work in NZSubject to clean police clearance checkAble to commit to the shiftsHealthcare qualification of Level 3 or aboveCompetency in emergency managementTasks: Personal caresCPR/First aidBathing, feeding & developmental therapiesMobility, positioning, grooming, and home helpMeal preparation, assisting with medication if requiredTransfer through hoistShifts: Monday to Friday 06:30 AM – 9:30 AM
