Support Worker - West Auckland (Behavioural Support) 64 hours per fortnightShifts: 12.30pm to 8.30pmAvailability to work every second weekend is requiredMo te tunga | About the role We are looking for an experienced Support Worker to work one-on-one with a person we support, helping them to achieve their goals and participate in the activities that they enjoy. No one is too disabled or "challenging" to be supported in taking an active role in their life.
You will be supporting an individual with complex behavioural support needs. Part of what you do each day will be helping them to recognise and respond to emotional overwhelm and react safely to this. We are looking for someone physically active who has the resilience and confidence to work with challenging behaviours.
Your role involves helping the people we support to:
