We are currently looking for empathetic and passionate Support Workers across our different services including Community and Rehabilitation and Social Services. Whether you are looking for flexibility around other commitments or would prefer regular rostered shifts, we have a variety of permanent (full-time and part-time) and casual options on offer.
What does a Support Worker do?
As part of a wider team, you will assist our clients to live as independently as possible, within their homes and community. You will help our clients to achieve their goals and reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support.
Responsibilities can be varied, and you will follow a care plan, which may include some or all of the below:
Meal preparation
Community outings and integration
Giving medication
Personal cares (showering, toileting etc)
Alternative weekends are a must
May need to travel to surrounding areas

You will earn between $23.23 - $29.10 per hour, depending on experience and qualification.

What are we looking for?

Previous healthcare or care-giving experience is desirable, although not essential
Healthcare qualifications are advantageous
Most positions require a full New Zealand driver's licence and your own reliable transport
