Support Worker - Timaru/Temuka/Pleasant PointHealthCare of New Zealand – Timaru, South IslandWe are currently looking for empathetic and passionate Support Workers across our different services including Community and Rehabilitation and Social Services. Whether you are looking for flexibility around other commitments or would prefer regular rostered shifts, we have a variety of permanent (full-time and part-time) and casual options on offer.What does a Support Worker do?As part of a wider team, you will assist our clients to live as independently as possible, within their homes and community. You will help our clients to achieve their goals and reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support.Responsibilities can be varied, and you will follow a care plan, which may include some or all of the below:Meal preparationCommunity outings and integrationGiving medicationPersonal cares (showering, toileting etc)Alternative weekends are a mustBe available to work morning shifts and evenings 4pm-9pmWilling to travel between Timaru, Temuka and Pleasant PointWhat's in it for you?We are committed to our employees and are proud to employ and train the best people in all areas of our organisation.
