NZCL is looking for energetic and motivated people to support people in their own home.We are looking for Part Time Support Workers to help the people we support in Tauranga residential services.What does a Support Worker do? | He aha te mahi a te Kaimahi TautokoThis is a busy and diverse role, supporting people with various aspects of daily life and to do the things they want to do such as going swimming, personal cares, support with meals, household management tasks and teaching life skills. You need to be respectful of others' thinking, and their way of living life that may be different from your own.Flexibility to work overnight shifts across a roster, including weekends.Empathy, respect, and cultural awareness is important in this role as the people we support come from diverse backgrounds with varying needs and interests.If you are passionate about supporting people, then maybe there is a role for you here.
