We are looking for Support Workers to work in Taradale and Haumoana. What does a Specialist Support Worker do? You will help our clients to achieve their goals and reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support. Responsibilities can vary, and you will follow a care plan, which may include some or all of the below: Meal preparation Community outings and integration Giving medication Personal cares (showering, toileting etc.) Bowel management stage 3, manual handling and hoist transfers Home management What do you get?
