You will be supporting people with intellectual disabilities living in their own homes to achieve their goals and aspirations. This is meaningful work where you can be creative and make every day interesting in ways that are important to others. This can include helping them to:Manage and learn daily living skills, such as cooking, cleaning and budgetingKeep in touch with family and friends as well as make new connectionsJoin community activities (e.g. sports and art)Look for a job and navigate employmentManage social issues and access relevant community servicesMake good decisions and live a healthy lifestyleMinimum RequirementsPrevious relevant experience is preferred, but more importantly, we are looking for someone with varied life experience and an open-minded attitude.
