NZCL is looking for energetic and motivated individuals to support people in their own homes.We are looking for part-time Support Workers in the South Auckland region for our Whanau Support Services, 10 hours per fortnight.What does a Support Worker do?You will support people in their home and community to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives to achieve their personal dreams and goals by doing the things they want to do, such as going swimming, attending sporting events, arts and crafts, movies, or shopping - the list is endless!What do you get?Earn competitive pay rates between $23.38 up to $29.10 per hourEarn while you learn with free training towards NZQA Health and WellbeingJob security with employee benefits, sick/annual leave, and moreTravel allowance and work phoneEmployee Assistance Programme service anytime you need health and wellbeing support'Refer a friend' bonusWho are we looking for?People who are passionate about helping others, kind, and understandingPrevious experience in a healthcare setting preferred, including experience working with youthFull driver's licence and owning your own vehicle is essentialA desire to support people to learn new skills and achieve outcomesSomebody who has the initiative to push people for their goals, is energetic, outgoing, and can think outside the box.
