Care on Call is passionate about supporting people in the community and we take pride in the personalised service we deliver to clients and the staff we work with.
You will join an existing supportive and caring team who look after our clients with their daily tasks, social activities and work commitments. This includes but is not limited to:
Personal cares (showering, toileting, dressing)
Passive exercises and stretches
House work and meal preparation
Driving clients in their vehicle to get to appointments, work meetings and community/social events
To match well with our clients you will need to be a special kind of person. One that has initiative, gets on well with others, is able to adapt to various situations and settings, can follow set processes and tasks, is proactive, has a 'can do' attitude and has great community skills.
Additional requirements
Great communication skills
A current, clean full driver's licence
Previous experience as a caregiver/support worker with similar clients
The legal right to work in NZ
Energetic, initiative, and a good sense of humour
To be reliable, punctual, honest and caring
