NZCL is looking for energetic and motivated people to support people in their own home.
We are looking for a full time, part time and casual support worker to help the people we support in our Lower Hutt residential services.What does a Support Worker do?
| He aha te mahi a te Kaimahi TautokoThis is a busy and diverse role, supporting people with various aspects of daily life and to do the things they want to do such as going swimming, personal cares, support with meals, household management tasks and teaching life skills.

Support Workers are part of a team who work shifts or specific rosters providing 24/7 support with the potential of additional sleepover payments included in some rosters.

You need to be respectful of others thinking, and their way of living life that may be different to your own.Flexibility to work overnight shifts across a roster, including weekends.Empathy, respect, and cultural awareness is important in this role as the people we support come from diverse backgrounds with varying needs and interests.
