Support Worker | Invercargill

Our client is a 16-year-old boy with neonatal brain damage, spastic cerebral palsy, and traumatic epilepsy who needs a fun-loving, proactive, and experienced support worker to assist him in living his best life. The family needs someone who is warm, outgoing, and shows pride in their presentation to help him achieve his goals while keeping him healthy.
Requirements:
Comfortable in a medical home environment
Confident to handle cares independently
Must have a clean and valid NZ driving licence
Must be eligible to work in NZ
Subject to clean police clearance check
Able to commit to the shifts
Training will be provided
Tasks:
Personal cares
Commode
Wheelchair support
Competency in ceiling hoist
Competency in PEG feeding
Support morning routine before pre-school
Shifts:
Monday to Friday 7:30 am - 08:30 am
*With the opportunity to pick up more shifts as they become available
