NZCL is looking for energetic and motivated people to support people in their own home.
We are looking for permanent full time support workers to help the Rangatahi and Tamariki in our disability intensive support services in Kapiti area.
About the role | He korero whakamarama mo tenei turanga Our Support Workers assist Rangatahi and Tamariki who access our services to live as independently as possible in their community.
Support Workers are part of a team who work shifts or specific rosters providing 24/7 cover with responsibilities including aiding with personal care, community outings, integration, and other aspects of daily living - enabling our clients to be as independent as possible.
Minimum Requirements Must have level 3 or 4 in NZQA Health & Wellbeing (or equivalent) to be considered.
What you will bring | Nga tohungatanga mo tenei turanga A desire to support our Rangatahi and Tamariki to learn new skills and achieve outcomes Prior experience supporting others with aspects of daily living, preferably those living with intellectual or physical disabilities Ideally experience working with children or youth Full driver's licence and confidence to safely transport passengers in our disability vans (training provided) Flexibility to work overnight shifts across a roster, including weekends At NZCL, we're passionate about creating an inclusive workplace that promotes and values diversity, and reflects the communities we serve.
