The Role: We are on the hunt for an exceptional individual who is passionate about empowering others and helping them reach their full potential.
As a Support Worker, you'll have an incredible opportunity to work closely with individuals in our community who have complex disabilities.
Your role will be instrumental in guiding them towards independence and mastery of essential life skills, which includes supporting them with various aspects of daily life such as connecting with the wider community, meal preparation, and household management tasks.
We are looking for someone who exhibits positivity, enthusiasm, and kindness, as well as the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Flexibility is necessary to accommodate different shift hours.
About You: We are currently seeking individuals with experience in administering medications, following safety plans, and caring for people with disabilities.
Your exceptional time management and problem-solving skills will be put to good use as you navigate through different situations.
It would be great if you also have experience working with individuals with challenging behaviours.
But here's the best part: you'll be supporting someone who truly enjoys life to the fullest!
From leisurely walks and trips to the cinema to trampolining and swimming, each day will be filled with joy and adventure.
You'll be assisting a very active person who loves nature and exercise, so it's important to be physically fit and able to keep up with them as they enjoy trail runs of up to 10 kilometres!
