The Role | Mo tenei turanga mahi
This is a permanent, part-time role working AM shift, Sunday to Wednesday, 7.00am - 3.30pm.
In this role you will:
Support people in a mental health respite setting, working individually and as part of a team.
Have good people skills and be able to work independently and within a wider team.
Support people with budgeting and independent daily living skills.
Attend appointments and advocate for people.
Assist people to connect with their communities.
Be prepared to do whatever it takes for the people we support - cleaning, cooking, gardening, personal care, or helping with everyday tasks.
Hold the Level 4 in Mental Health and Wellbeing Certificate or qualifications in Psychology, education, sport, and nutrition (preferred).
Hold a current full New Zealand driver's licence.
Hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one.
Demonstrate knowledge of and commitment to the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
