We visit people in their homes and work in an intentional, goal-oriented way so that people can thrive independently of us. You could think of yourself as a well-being coach and will be managing your own caseload with the support of a Team Coach.You will be responsible for:Goal setting and building confidenceSupporting people with budgeting and independent daily living skillsAttending appointments and advocating for peopleAssisting people to connect with their communitiesSupporting people to take medication independentlyThis is a permanent, full-time position. You will be working Tuesday - Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm & Saturday, 11:30am – 8pm, based in Ellerslie, Auckland.You | MouWe are interested to hear from people who have a caring nature and work in a recovery and strengths-focused way.You will also have:Current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain oneApplicants must hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent.Support Worker experience or similarSound knowledge of the secondary mental health sector is desiredKnowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of the Te Tiriti o WaitangiClosing Date: Friday, 22nd November 2024.
