Aged & Disability Support (Community Services & Development) Full timeRostered shifts - flexibility for day, evening, sleepovers and weekend shifts neededEarn while you learn, gain nationally recognised qualifications!Mo te tunga | About the roleThe role of a Support Worker involves providing assistance to individuals in developing their independence and acquiring skills for daily living. This includes tasks like helping them with public transportation, employment, finances, and meal preparation. Depending on the specific work environment, Support Workers may also assist with individual needs such as shopping, cleaning, showering, and medication administration.No prior experience in the health and disability sector is necessary, but a strong desire to pursue a career as a Support Worker with a positive attitude is highly valued.
