Are you looking to make a real difference in your community? We are currently looking for empathetic and passionate Support Workers across our different services including Community & Rehabilitation, Disability and Social Services. Whether you are looking for flexibility around other commitments or would prefer regular rostered shifts, we have a variety of permanent full-time and part-time options on offer.
We are seeking Community Support Workers who are available to work Monday, Wednesday, Friday and every weekend and available to work between 7am to 6pm in Gisborne. What does a Support Worker do? As part of a wider team, you will assist our clients to live as independently as possible, within their homes and community. You will help our clients to achieve their goals and reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support. Responsibilities can be varied and you will follow a care plan, which may include some or all of the below:
Meal preparationCommunity outings and integrationGiving medicationPersonal cares (showering, toileting etc)Home managementWhat's in it for you? You will earn between $23.38 - 29.10 per hour, depending on experience and qualification.
