Mo te turanga | About the Role In this role, you will be supporting five semi-independent people to live their best lives, Sarah, Cindy, Peter, Barry, and Graham who are in their 30's to 60's and live at our Barrington campus in a beautiful new home. The flatmates have a variety of interests including keeping fit, cooking, visiting the airport, seeing family, friends, and attending Hohepa's anthroposophical and community events. We need a confident, positive person who can build strong respectful relationships with the people we support. You will be energetic, empathetic, and able to work alongside this person, focusing on creating a life of rich and diverse experiences while being able to read situations, problem-solve, and apply boundaries or offer space. Daily tasks include supporting daily routines while encouraging independence to develop skills and personal growth. You will have the confidence to support personal cares, cooking, medication administration, and household tasks.
