NZCL is looking for energetic and motivated individuals to support people in their own homes.What does a Support Worker do? | He aha te mahi a te Kaimahi TautokoThis is a busy and diverse role, supporting people with various aspects of daily life and helping them do the things they want to do, such as going swimming, personal cares, meal support, household management tasks, and teaching life skills. The list is endless! You need to be respectful of others' thinking and their way of living life that may be different from your own.Flexibility to work overnight shifts across a roster, including weekends.Empathy, respect, and cultural awareness are important in this role as the people we support come from diverse backgrounds with varying needs and interests.If you are passionate about supporting people, then maybe there is a role for you here.
