SkyCity Entertainment Group is one of Australasia's leading entertainment destinations with four locations in Australia and New Zealand, therefore working at SkyCity means working alongside some of the very best in the gaming, hospitality, and tourism industries.About the roleIn this unique & varied role, you will work to provide customer satisfaction and safe service delivery by the breakdown response and preventative maintenance of technical gaming equipment, alongside analysing gaming machine performance and providing recommendations accordingly.You will also be the go-to person to ensure SkyCity Queenstown building structures and infrastructures meet the expectations of customers, co-ordinating and overseeing contractor management, maintenance repairs, and general upkeep of the building and facilities.Where applicable you will provide local support for IT issues as a first point of contact, with the assistance of the Auckland SkyCity IT operation.This is a Full-Time opportunity, working 40 hours per week, primarily Monday - Friday, but some weekend work may be required on an occasional basis.About youIt'll be your winning attitude, excellent customer service & communication skills, coupled with your high level of professionalism & initiative which will make you a great fit for SkyCity. Using your innate problem-solving ability, you will focus on continuous improvements, cost efficiencies and be able to see the big picture while maintaining attention to detail.To be successful in this role, you will also:Have Field, electrical, or electronics service or maintenance experience or a keen interest in pursuing a career in this areaPossess good time management skills and ability to work independentlyBe able to undertake the physical demands required of the roleBe aged 20 years or above with a clear criminal history due to licensing requirementsHave knowledge of IT fundamentalsAn EST certificate is advantageous but not essential.
