Emphasis is on identifying performance improvement opportunities and utilising associated methodologies and technologies. This will require taking a collaborative, facilitation, and leadership role in the design, development, and deployment of tools, principles, and processes that support our operational teams.This role will be part of our Support Services directorate and initially will be responsible for a range of services potentially including Orderlies, Laundry, Security, and Waste.About youA relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.A minimum of 5 years in a similar management role.Effective relationship management skills with experience in influencing others to achieve desired outcomes.Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with experience in presenting information to a range of audiences.Ability to think critically, evaluate risk, operate effectively in a complex service environment, and prioritise competing demands under pressure.Strong organising, planning, and time management skills; able to multitask, reprioritise, and react to issues that arise while keeping calm and professional in demanding situations.Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.Experience in projects/initiatives that give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.Working for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
