Responsibilities
• Overseeing the support for people with intellectual disabilities who live on their own or in homes of up to four flatmates• Responsible for up to six homes and approximately 20 staff• Promoting the Enabling Good Lives Principles and creating strong networks• Building strong working relationships with people in the homes, their whanau, support staff, and colleagues
Requirements
• Management/leadership experience preferably from within the disability, not-for-profit, health or human services sectors• Experience in supporting people with intellectual disabilities and their families• Energy, resilience, adaptability, well-developed interpersonal skills, and strong organization and time management skills• Strong understanding of financial and business viability• Full driver's license and ability to work in New Zealand
