The newly created role of Supply Chain Supervisor is an opportunity to enhance the good work of the team to date and introduce a wholistic approach in particular to Procurement, Purchasing, Inventory Control and the associated logistics that will create efficiency, ensure on time delivery, and demonstrate best use of capital investment.
You will come from a background that demonstrates competence in the key areas highlighted above and ideally from engineering or manufacturing experience where you understand a jobbing type environment and what good service looks like.
For this you will need to understand the end to end of Supply Chain and what total cost of ownership means to a business.
This implies a strength in Process and system development and experience with Management Information Systems that will bring a level of automation to the function.
This will then be overlaid with a competence in managing stakeholders to deliver on time and in full via appropriate contracts that bring assurity and consistency in the Supply Chain.
This is an opportunity to deliver via a role that has the ability to make the single most important contribution to pro-actively managing input costs.
