About the role We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our Parts Distribution team as a Supply Chain Planner. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of spare parts, working closely with suppliers, shipping companies, and internal departments. Your mission will be to maintain optimal stock levels, support inventory functions, and continuously improve operational processes. If you have strong organisational skills, an eye for detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. We offer ongoing training and opportunities for professional development. Key responsibilities: Assist in daily inventory operations to ensure seamless department function. Maintain healthy stock levels through monthly inventory ordering and backorder control. Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of stock. Manage the flow of incoming spare parts and ensure accurate system tracking. Support inventory operation performance reporting with KPI preparation. Continuously improve and optimise inventory and logistics processes. Adhere to health and safety regulations, promoting a proactive safety culture. What you'll need to succeed in this role: Experience in supply chain or inventory management. Experience in the automotive industry or a similar role will be advantageous. Experience working with suppliers and logistics partners. Adequate computer skills, particularly in inventory systems. Organisational and time-management skills. A detail-oriented approach with the ability to handle multiple tasks. Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills. A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
