Position Overview: We are looking for a Supply Chain Officer to support the Supply & Logistic functions of the Martin & Pleasance Group. This position is full time and reports to the National Supply Chain Manager. Responsibilities: Assist with inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels. Purchasing of raw materials supported by commercial analysis. Prepare regular reports on supply chain metrics. Assist with development of SOP/Demand forecast. Suggest solutions for process improvements and cost reductions. Choose, build and maintain good relationships with vendors including determining their ability to continuously supply M&P. Liaise with supervisors/managers daily on operations to ensure material supply is consistent with the production plan. Assist with management of logistics operations including warehousing, transportation and distribution. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to Natural medicines. Experience and Qualifications: Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably within the natural medicine or pharmaceutical industry. Good understanding of supply chain management principles and practices. Proven experience in supplier management, contract negotiation, and logistics. Proficient in supply chain management software, preferably SAP B1 and tools. Understanding of accounting and finance. An ability to read and understand the supply chain agreements. Solid analytical skills and the capacity to interpret data for informed decision-making. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills while being able to work collaboratively within a team environment. Ability to create value and solve consistent issues with supply, planning and inventory control. Strong affinity for numbers, spreadsheets and preparing reports. Exceptional communication skills to deal with both internal and external stakeholders. Excellent negotiation skills. Pro-active and self-motivated with a drive to take initiative and improve processes.
