This is a newly created position to join our team in Loganholme.This position is full time and reports to the National Supply Chain ManagerResponsibilities:Determine key supply chain KPIsSuggest solutions for process improvements and cost reductionsIdentify supply bottlenecks and implement solutions in a timely mannerChoose, build and maintain good relationships with vendors including determining their ability to continuously supply M&P'sManagement of the site materials budgetLiaise with supervisors/managers on the day to day operations to ensure material supply is consistent with the production planLiaise with QA/QC to ensure vendors are a suitable choice to supply materials according to the M&P Supplier ValidationWhere necessary, implement procedures for direct import purchases, their documentation and supply timelinesLiaise with suppliers and transport in respect to all requirements, documentation etc within the whole supply chainManage the allocation of freight and additional expenses, such as testing and treatment with respect to cost of goodsGenerate daily, weekly and monthly reports.Experience and Qualifications:Minimum 3 years experience in supply chain and preferred but not essential within the pharmaceutical industry.Understanding of accounting and finance.Hands on experience with supply chain management software preferably SAP B1Proven problem solving ability.An ability to read and understand the supply chain agreements.Intermediate to advanced excel skills.Someone who loves numbers and spreadsheets.Communication is key to a variety of internal and external stakeholders by email, phone and face to face.You have excellent negotiation skills.You like to create value, decrease problems and solve consistent issues with supply, planning, inventory control and operationally.If you wish to apply and have all the above attributes and experience we would love to hear from you with your covering letter, CV and the answers to the questionnaire accompanying this job vacancy.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a Supply Chain Officer?What's your expected annual base salary?How would you describe your knowledge of excel?What part of the supply chain do you enjoy the most?What is the current title of your job?Report this job advert Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.What can I earn as a Supply Chain Officer#J-18808-Ljbffr
