Presbyterian Support Otago – Invercargill, South Island Full time Southern Cross Invercargill Hospital is the southernmost private surgical hospital in the Southern Cross network, widely known and used by people throughout the Southland and Queenstown-Wakatipu basin areas.
The hospital features advanced theatre systems, including robotic orthopaedic surgery.
Our highly skilled and caring team provides excellent care to 4200 patients per year.
Our elective surgical services include Breast; Endoscopy and Gastroenterology; General; Gynaecology; Ophthalmology; Oral and Maxillofacial; Orthopaedic; Ear Nose and Throat; and Urology surgery.
This role is a member of our Hospital Senior Leadership Team and will be accountable for the end-to-end supply chain activity.
This includes strategic stock management, procurement, the inbound process for product ordered, and the storage, movement, and management of inventory held onsite.
Heading an energetic team of Supply Chain Coordinators, leadership is a core component of the role along with the ability to build relationships and influence behaviours across the wider hospital team for whom you will be delivering systems and services.
This is a fixed term role until August 2026.
To be successful in this role you will need to be great with numbers, systems, and people!
You will also need a minimum of 5+ years' proven experience in supply chain/inventory management.
We are looking for someone with commercial acumen who thrives on change and continual improvement.
Within the Supply Chain Team, we have a terrific bunch of committed people who work hard to deliver a quality service.
With that in mind, the need for a positive, enthusiastic, and visible leader will help this dynamic team grow from strength to strength.
You will have experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, as well as experience in completing analysis of data, drawing conclusions, and communicating changes when required.
