Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) As an experienced Supply Chain Manager, you will lead and refine our supply chain strategies, manage end-to-end operations, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive excellence across our facilities. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute directly to our growth, with potential to quickly evolve into the Head of Supply Chain position. You will work closely with the team to contribute to strategy, prioritize activities, and build robust systems and processes that enhance our global operations. You'll also be happy to work at the coal face to get things done. What you will do: Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, production planning, logistics, and supplier relationships. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance. Build and refine supply chain systems and processes, driving continuous improvement across both facilities. Collaborate with production teams to integrate supply chain strategies with production planning, ensuring alignment with company goals. Work closely with the Supply Chain Leader to refine strategy, set priorities, and drive key initiatives across the business. Manage supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure that all supply chain activities comply with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Mentor and develop the other staff in our office , providing guidance, support, and opportunities for growth. Collaborate with the team across the New Zealand and Netherlands offices , demonstrating leadership through cross-location teamwork, sharing best practices, and driving alignment on global supply chain strategies. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within the supply chain function, influencing broader team dynamics through collaboration and example. Be adaptable and willing to step into operational roles when needed , providing hands-on support to ensure consistent coverage, particularly during team absences or peak periods. What you will bring: Proven experience in senior supply chain management, preferably within high-tech manufacturing or aerospace sectors. Strong background in production planning, ERP systems, global supply chain management, and strategic supplier relationships. Demonstrated success in building and refining supply chain systems and processes. Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing and developing cross-functional teams. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive initiatives from concept to execution. Willingness to travel between our New Zealand and Netherlands offices as needed for collaboration and alignment. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Improved stock-turn ratios and inventory efficiency. Achievement of quarterly supply chain objectives, including cost reduction targets. Successful implementation of strategic initiatives that enhance supply chain performance.
