About you:
Are you ready to take your supply chain expertise to the next level? At TRS Tyre and Wheel, you'll play a pivotal role in driving operational success. We are looking for a passionate and results-oriented Supply Chain Manager who thrives in a dynamic environment.
Purpose of role:
To provide strategic leadership for all supply chain functions, ensuring that supplier commitments are met while aligning with TRS's financial objectives. This role aims to create value for both internal and external stakeholders by driving efficiency across the supply chain.
Key Accountabilities:
Budgeting Develop and manage the annual product budget for major suppliers in collaboration with the CFC, Sales & Marketing Manager, and National Sales Manager.
Provide regular analysis of current and future inventory values, supplier exposure, and foreign currency commitments.

Ordering Commitments Implement and oversee monthly inventory forecasts to ensure visibility and accuracy of ongoing inventory positions.
Communicate forecasts to suppliers as needed.

International Purchasing Handle all international inventory purchasing to meet TRS operational needs.
Manage brand alternatives and supercessions in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing Manager.
Ensure purchase commitments and documentation are provided to the CFC for effective foreign currency management and timely supplier payments.
Integrate new product lines into budgeting and inventory management according to brand management requirements.

Brands and Suppliers Foster strong supplier relationships by ensuring timely order placements and optimal service delivery.
Manage supplier relationships to maximize value and efficiency for TRS.

Product Delivery Ensure delivery lead times align with operational requirements.
Reconcile orders placed with unconfirmed, confirmed, and shipped inventory.
Develop processes to identify and mitigate supply chain gaps, ensuring fulfillment meets forecasted demand.

Administration Negotiate and manage all international freight agreements and contracts.
Maintain accurate and reliable inventory records and associated data within TRS operating systems.
Develop and implement IT tools for effective forecasting, budgeting, ordering, and reporting.
Identify and manage stock shortages, overstocks, aged stock, and obsolete stock.
Create records for all new inventory items and manage inventory classification.

Health & Safety Implement all elements of the TRS health and safety policy, ensuring adherence to safety values and behaviors at all times.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)
Budgeting and Forecasting: Accuracy of budgets compared to historical results and future business needs.
Timely and reliable provision of forecasts to suppliers and management.
Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO) in line with company expectations.

Purchasing and Delivery: Achievement of target inventory values and stock turnover rates.
Ratio of stock outages to sales on critical business lines.
Adherence to agreed order placement and reporting deadlines.
Order fulfillment within standard or communicated lead times from suppliers.
Accurate reconciliation of TRS and supplier documentation throughout the supply chain.

Shipping: Shipping arrangements that meet operational cost and timeliness requirements.
Timely information provided to warehousing for domestic container movements.

Suppliers: Strong supplier relationships resulting in a thorough understanding of inventory needs and increased ability and willingness to meet those requirements.
