ABOUT THE ROLE
Our innovative manufacturing-technology client is seeking a permanent Supply Chain Manager.
As a member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing their NZ supply chain and operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods, meeting customer demands, and driving cost-effective operations. You will have 6 direct reports.
KEY DUTIES
Lead and manage the Supply Chain function (logistics, supply & demand planning, warehousing) and operations
Negotiate with and maintain supplier relationships, performance and OpEx.
Improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs (where possible), and enhance customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, reduce bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.
Foster a positive and high-performing work environment and the development of your team leaders.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
A successful track record in managing the supply chain for a globally focused company is essential, including logistics, demand & supply planning, production, and warehousing (minimum 5 years experience).
A proven ability to lead and manage a team.
Proficiency in ERP and operational management systems, including Power BI.
