Learn more about Abodo's carefully crafted timber products at  About the role: We are seeking an energetic and people-focused Supply Chain Manager who thrives in a dynamic environment and is motivated by innovation and efficiency.
In this role, you will shape our supply network strategy and oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring timely stock supply and efficient order fulfilment for both domestic and export markets.
Your responsibilities will include optimising procurement, managing supplier relationships, maintaining inventory levels, streamlining processes, and mitigating risks to ensure operational excellence.
Based at our Mangere Head Office and reporting to the Head of Operations and Supply Chain, you will work closely with internal teams and external partners to drive success across Abodo's supply chain operations.
Day in the life: Lead and mentor a high-performance team, fostering growth and aligning goals with Abodo's supply chain strategy.
Develop and manage sourcing, procurement, and supply chain processes, ensuring legal compliance and strong supplier relationships.
Implement and monitor KPIs to improve sourcing, supplier performance, and overall operations.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to execute efficient stock, transport, and logistics plans.
Negotiate advantageous supplier deals and secure long-term partnerships to support cost-effective procurement.
Maintain business continuity plans to mitigate risks in procurement and supply chain processes.
Champion Health & Safety policies, ensuring risk management and compliance across the supply chain.
Enhance ERP systems to improve visibility and drive efficiency in supply chain operations.
About you: 5 - 7 years of experience in supply chain and procurement, including S&OP Planning, Inventory Management, and Procurement.
High-energy professional with a proven track record in supply chain management, particularly in an ERP-driven environment.
Analytical and data-driven, capable of making strategic decisions to drive business performance.
Extensive experience in sourcing and procurement with strong supplier relationship management.
Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a passion for developing people.
Proactive in tackling new challenges and finding innovative solutions.
Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field.
CPIM 1 and 2 - NZPICS Supply Chain Fundamentals modules.
